May 2020 message from our ACES President Alexia McKinnon
Hello Alpenglow Families,
May is here and we are just now glimpsing what could be the end of the snow with warmer weather coming more and more. We are seeing less restrictions for the businesses and parks in our area, in regards to Covid-19, and higher hopes in our hearts for what is to come in our unforeseen future.
An upcoming important date I wanted to make sure you are aware of is Thursday May 22nd, when we will hold our ACES AGM (Annual General Meeting). At this short meeting, being held via Zoom, will share some of our years highlights, review the budget, vote in any new members.. This year we are looking to fill 4 positions, you can take a look here are more detailed information regarding the positions needing to be filled and the important role ACES plays for our school. If this is of interest to you, please email our President, Alexia McKinnon.
In this newsletter we have just a few pieces of important information we wanted to relay to you as well as some great reading for those with time on your hands.
Lastly and always, we hold you close to our hearts and want you to know that our school would not be what it is without you. We are looking ahead to September and working closely with CRPS to ensure that all our families will be welcomed back in the safest capacity.
