April message from ACES
Hello Alpenglow Families,
The very cold days have turned into beautiful sunny says, and we hope that you have been able to get out enjoy the sunshine over the break. As the seasons change it is wonderful to watch the children enjoy not having to wear so much bulky clothing and play in the melting snow, puddles and of course mud! It is also a great time to take quiet moments outside listening to spring arrive - the chirping of birds, buzzing of flies, water dripping and kids playing outside.
As the spring arrives so does our annual Spring Flower Fundraiser. Thank you to all those who made an order. The plants always arrive stunningly beautiful and put smiles on everyones face! We are looking for some helping hands on delivery day, see details below in the newsletter. At Alpenglow, springtime also brings our Springfest event, which we have missed these past years. Save the date, May 27th and sign up to help if you can!
We will be hosting our AGM on May 17th. We are asking you all to join us to help us move forward into a new year. We are required to have our members there to make this happen, so please plan to come! We will also be voting in some new board members - so take a read here to see what ACES is all about and what positions will need to be filled this coming year.
Also, if you have not had a chance yet to fill out our annual survey, please do so as we would love to hear what you think!
As always, a huge thank you to those who have given their time to our events and classrooms. We can not thank you each and every one of you enough for all of your love and help. Our school would not be what it is without you!
