With Gratitude to Our Community
We are so grateful for the many hands and hearts that support Alpenglow in big and small ways.
Grocery Card Program
A heartfelt thank you to Kaleigh F. for helping connect with our members, organizing orders, and coordinating the collection and distribution of grocery cards. We are also so grateful to Christina C., who stepped up to support the community program as an organizer — your behind-the-scenes efforts make a meaningful difference for our school.
Merchandise & Retail Sales
Thank you to Sarah V., our go-to for retail sales at events. From organizing merchandise displays to coordinating retail sales volunteers and managing those “random email orders,” your steady presence helps keep everything running smoothly. We appreciate the care and organization you bring to this role.
Community Chicken Program
A big thank you to Kristy D. for organizing our chicken helpers and serving as liaison with the school to keep everything coordinated. And to Christine Mc., thank you for holding the reins of this position at the beginning of the year and helping transition it into capable hands. Your support helped ensure continuity for this much-loved program.
Julie Driemel
Thank you to Julie for generously giving her time and talent to capture our school photos. These images beautifully reflect the spirit of our students and community.
The Banff Centre & Supporters of Our Music Program
We extend our heartfelt thanks to The Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity for donating a piano to our school. We are also deeply grateful to an anonymous donor who covered the cost of transportation and tuning, ensuring this beautiful instrument is ready to be enjoyed by our students for years to come.
Anonymous Donor
We would like to recognize a generous anonymous donor whose recent contributions have made a meaningful impact across our school. Their gifts have supported a library upgrade, furnishings for our outdoor classroom, new chalkboards and carpets in several classrooms, and beautiful new wooden toys for our Kindergarten. These enhancements enrich our learning spaces and directly support the daily experience of our students.

Winterfest Thank You!
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make Winterfest such a wonderful success this year. This event is a huge undertaking, and it simply would not be possible without our incredible community of volunteers. From setup to cleanup—and everything in between--you made the day feel magical for our children and families.
A very special thank you to Sarah P. and Erin W., whose coordination, time, energy, and attention to detail make this big event look absolutely seamless. We are so grateful for everything you put into bringing Winterfest to life.
Thank you as well to Michelle Nugent, Safeway, and Save-On-Foods for their generous donations and support. Your contributions helped elevate the event in such meaningful ways.
We’d also like to extend our appreciation to Annabel Preece and Jody Keon for their ongoing support—helping us connect with the right people, coordinating school bookings, and assisting with the many details that go into hosting events at the school. We’re also grateful for their help getting Winterfest information out to families, including on the electronic sign.
And finally, a warm thank you to everyone we may not have mentioned by name. Winterfest is a true community effort, and every single contribution—big or small—helps make it special. We are so grateful for this amazing community.
